Starting in the beautiful village of Great Budworth, this walk has stunning views of Arley Hall and some of the surrounding countryside. There is also a very rare Victorian Post Box part way around.
Interesting Fact:
The Arley estate has been part of the land held by the Warburton family since the end of the 12th century. In 1469 Piers Warburton moved his principal seat from Warburton to Arley, and built the first house on the site. It consisted of a 'U'-shaped building with the centre of the 'U' facing south.
