This fairly short walk takes in some beautiful countryside and passes through the stunning windmill wood. Easy terrain throughout and the excellent Dun Cow for refreshments or lunch.
Interesting Fact: In the 17th century, the Dun Cow was a stop off point for death row prisoners being sent from sentencing in Macclesfield to the gallows in Knutsford. They would often have their last meal there.
